Week 9 notices – yrs 1-4

Kia ora,

I trust you all enjoyed seeing the sun this weekend. It has been a dismal few weeks weather wise so it was most welcome!

The week ahead has a number of things worthy of mention.

Monday: Fine weather is forecast – just thought that was worth celebrating!
Tuesday: On Tuesday afternoon there is a Paid NZEI Union Meeting.. Many of the LAs will be attending, and Niki has booked some relievers to cover the HBs. However, if you wanted to take this as an opportunity for some off-site learning, please feel free!
Gisela from ‘Speak Spanish’ will set up after school on Tuesday, weather permitting on the court. She has 4 students lined up who would like to learn Spanish on Thursday lunchtimes, and her aim is to find a couple more to make it viable.
Friday: Celebration of Learning -This Friday, 6-8pm, Jack Mann auditorium, Unlimited campus. Come along and see some of the great work we have been up to. We would love as many of you as possible to attend. There will be static displays of student’s work 6-6.30, followed by an array of performances to thrill and delight! Several of the children in the junior community are practising a performance of “E rere taku poi.” I will be in contact if your child is keen tomorrow to see if they are available.

Week 10:
Clean up day is Tuesday. LAs would love help sorting games, putting away books, washing surfaces etc.
Wednesday and Thursday are IEM days. Please ensure you have booked these through the website.
Friday is a Teacher Only Day and school will be closed for tuition.
School holidays begin on Saturday.
