Kia ora whanau,
*What a fantastic day we had at Abberley Park on Monday. It was lovely seeing children catching up after the holidays and meeting new friends too. The level of enthusiasm for starting the school year was running high. We really appreciated the number of family members who joined us for the day too.
*This year we welcome one new and one newish staff member. Jean is teaching in La Découverte full time with our French/English cohort and Suze is now a permanent, full time LA. A warm welcome to them both. I know as a community we will support them well as they provide amazing learning experiences for the children. We also welcome Nöelie into La Découverte. Nöelie is working voluntarily to support Jean.
*Today saw the naming of two of our homebases. Libby and Gina’s homebase is now Homebase Hawk and Suze and Nadine’s homebase is Homebase Tuatara.
* Please remember to send a hat with your child each day
