Our enrolment process

Our tours are on hold for now and we will make contact with you when they resume if you fill in the tour booking form.

In the meantime, there is a lot of information about our school on this website and you can still register your interest below so we can contact you when we run our next enrolment process.

  1. Attend a tour
To enrol at Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery you first need to make the time to come on a tour of our school if you are not a current family. Tours are also for people interested in the school and who would  like to view the school and see how we operate. Our Director (Principal) takes the tour.
You can book a tour by completing this form.
  2. Register your interest
You can register your interest online at any time, however, we require all applicants to have attended a tour.
You can register your interest by completing this form.
  3. Pre-enrolment reference information
As we get closer to our interview times, the school will send a form to families for the student’s current school/pre-school to provide a reference.
  4. Attend an interview
We interview both the parents and students to establish your suitability to work in our special character environment. After you have attended a tour, registered your interest, we will contact you to ask your student’s current school/pre-school to provide reference information and invite you to come in for an interview when places become available. If you are overseas or not based in Canterbury, we will conduct the interview by Skype.

We will also ask caregivers to give us  contact details to get in touch with you after the interview plus provide information so we know which priority and category order your student will be in for the ballot.

2020 enrolments

We are not currently taking any new enrolments as we are full at most year levels, with balloted waiting lists to work through first when places come up.  If these are exhausted and places become available we will run a new enrolment process. To be involved in this, please complete steps 1 and 2 of our enrolment process above.

2021 enrolments

We have not set our time line for these yet.  In the meantime, please follow our enrolment process above.
