Welcome back to term 2. We are looking forward to another great term of learning and fun within the community.
As part of our effort to build a strong sense of belonging and strengthen our community bonds, we would like to host an evening of shared food and food for thought. We believe that having an opportunity to meet in an informal setting, to share thinking and have a purposeful conversation is an excellent way to help make our community stronger.
On Thursday May 11, we are inviting you to bring the family and join us in welcoming back to school a number of our alumni as guest speakers. We will be hearing from three former students on their experience as learners and their journey in becoming educators themselves. We think the knowledge and perspectives that they bring to this evening will be of immeasurable value to our existing parents and students alike.
We will start the evening with a cup of tea and a meet and greet at 6:00. Immediately following we will hear from each of our guest speakers and then enjoy our meals, finishing with further conversation until 8:00.
We hope that many of our parents and students will be able to attend. We look forward to an informative and engaging evening.
