Reminder we have Sports’ Day tomorrow at Hansen Park 16 Butler Street Opawa. This starts at 9am and finishes at 2:30pm. There is no transport from school, so students will need to be dropped off and picked up at the Sports’ Grounds. Whānau are welcome to stay for the day and support their children. We have attached the timetable of events for the day and the colours that each community are wearing. Please pack sun hats, water, food and a warm top for the day. We will have sunscreen on site. Students won’t be allowed to leave the park during the day to get food so they need to bring food with them.
If we have a wet weather cancellation then we will let everyone know via school apps, social media and the website. When students arrive at the grounds in the morning then they should look for their Home Base Learning Advisor, or Community Leader and we will do attendance just after 9am. If your child isn’t attending Sports’ Day then please advise the school using school apps, office@aotawhiti.school.nz or the school phone 03 3777773.
