In short, no. We do provide offsite learning opportunities for our students. You can arrange these with your child’s homebase learning advisor. We are still a school, and while we are extremely open to working with you and your unique needs, we do need you to attend and meet the requirements of any other school.
It depends. Each year we find that we have slightly different demands at each year level. In general we ballot at all year levels. There is usually more demand at Y1-6.
Ao Tawhiti is a state school. There is no cost to attend.
The answer is, it depends. We don’t see students as a condition or need. We see them for who they are and what they want to learn. We have a maximum role of 670 students ranging from Year 1 to Year 13.
Ao Tawhiti’s zone encompasses Christchurch city. If you live outside of Christchurch you can still enrol, but you will be balloted after the students within the zone.
