This afternoon the Prime Minister announced that all schools will be closed from tomorrow morning. Children of identified essential services workers are able to attend school for the next two days.
All schools will be closed for instruction from Wednesday 11.59pm for 4 weeks.
We are currently awaiting further information from the Ministry of Education. I will update you further with anything significant that may be included in their communications.
Important things to note right now
- Only children of identified essential services workers are able to attend school on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Everyone else needs to remain home.
- Only Senior Leadership will be at school tomorrow
- Please contact the school via email rather than phone
- We will share another update with you tomorrow
- The staff have agreed to provide work for students. You can expect communication around this in the next few days.
