Matariki 2021 IMPORTANT UPDATE

Our amazing matariki celebration is less than one week away, and we still need more offers of help. At this stage, it looks like workshops might not go ahead…

Timetable of the event:

3pm – 7pm Matariki Celebration
3:00 Soup/ set up
3:30 Workshops
5:00 Performances and lantern walk
6:00 Shared kai, including hangi

If you have offered to donate veggies for the hangi, please bring them to reception this week. If you have offered to help prep vegetables for the hangi there might be some competition for space in the kitchen so we might have to be creative about where we chop..?! Also, are there any parents who would approach some places for donations of meat? Please get in touch.

Below is a table of what we need and who has so far made a generous offer. Here is the link to offer help and here is the link to the form if you/ your student would like to perform. So far there are 4 offers to perform, we would LOVE some more. Some of you dancers out there might be keen…?

Please get in touch if you have any questions/ queries/ concerns.
