We have had the following communication from the Ministry of Education regarding the series of earthquakes in the North Island this morning. The current advice is that our school does not need to close.
Civil Defence has advised that everyone stays off the beaches and away from shore areas because of the strong and unusual currents and unpredictable surges. We have cancelled our surfing trip this morning. We will continue to keep in touch with the Ministry of Education and if anything changes we will alert families through the website, school apps, email and social media.
