Wednesday 28 April – Info

Wednesday 28 April

Welcome back from the longer than usual weekend. I hope you’ve all had a great start to Level 3. I found it really interesting how bizarre it felt to be in a car. It was also amazing how quickly it felt normal being back on site. Several of the LAs used yesterday’s teacher only day to set up the site for the students who will be learning from school during Alert Level 3. It was a strange experience talking to people “for real” (from a socially safe distance of course). I went home at the end of the day totally exhausted despite having not really done anything really draining.

Sending your child to school at Alert Level 3

As a reminder, if you need to send your child to school, can you please make sure that you contact me directly on director@aotawhiti.school.nz. Doing so will allow me to make sure that I have enough LAs onsite to manage their learning.

Learning at Alert Level 3

The Senior Leadership team has worked with staff to set up our 2.1 courses and learning. If you’ve haven’t had a chance to check it out yet go to

Keep up the amazing work that you are doing from home. I’m super appreciative of all that you are doing to support the LAs and the students right now.
