It is with much excitement that I announce an awesome event coming up for parents, students and LAs. On Friday November 6, Ao Tawhiti will present a conference with speakers from around Christchurch who will run workshops on diversity. There are specialists in occupational therapy, neurodiversity, and representatives of Autism NZ, the Seabrook Mckenzie Centre and Mana Ake among others.
I am putting the final touches to the programme this week, but could not wait to share this awesome event with you all. Mark the date in your diaries, and be available from around 3:00 on 6 November. Look out for details of who will speak and what they will be talking about early next week.
