Friday 28 April our normal timetable begins.

We are excited to welcome Sarah Walker to our teaching staff. She will be teaching English to students in Years 7 – 13. We are also pleased to welcome Sean McCabe who will be taking Music while Matt Davis is on leave for terms two and three. He will be job-sharing with Steve Ingram.

We had a couple of small earthquakes this morning, so it is a good time to remind whānau that if we have a big earthquake during the school day then we will evacuate the school down to Hagley Park – opposite Hagley College. If we do evacuate then we will advise whānau through social media, website, email, text and school apps.

We recommend that all whānau upload ‘SchoolApps’ to their phones. We use this to communicate last minute reminders. Simply download the SchoolApps and choose ‘Ao Tawhiti’ from the list of schools. The password is mollett19. You can use SchoolApps to inform the office of absentees, see the school calendar and access the school newsletter.
