2022 starting arrangements for new families

Key dates to be aware of for students starting in Term 1:

Thursday, 27th January 2022
Year 7-13 New Student Induction Afternoon 12.30-2.30pm
Our Peer Support team will welcome new students for lunch and a tour of the building, as well as having a chance to get to know each other better. Please RSVP for your student to laura.borrowdale@aotawhiti.school.nz.

Tuesday and Wednesday, 1st and 2nd of February 2022
IEM days
These are the initial meetings with the student, family and learning advisor to set up your learning plans for the year. Your learning advisor has been selected for you and that information is available here:

During this meeting, you will select your subjects and set up your timetable. This will give you an idea of what stationery you will need as well as how your time will be organised.

First day of school
New students are welcomed with a mihi whakatau at 9am. Classes begin at 11.20am.
