Return to School Form

Thank you so much for completing the form we put out yesterday. I will be using this data to finalise our arrangements for what learning will look like from 29 April during Alert Level 3.

If you are yet to complete the form can you please do so immediately. The form will close at 11am.

I would also like to thank all of you for your continued efforts at engaging your children with their school work. I know it must be an incredible challenge for some of you to manage your work as well as your child’s schooling from your home. I also am really grateful that many of you will be continuing to make this happen as we move in Alert Level 3.

Learning onsite

In tomorrow morning’s update I will let you know how we intend to manage learning onsite and at home.

It’s important to reiterate that learning will not look like it did before we went into lock down.

Looking at the initial data, we expect 90-95% of our students to continue working from home during Alert Level 3. For those students attending their learning is likely to look more like distance learning from school.

There will also be the added health and safety requirements that the school must follow. These are likely to mean a reduction in where students can go and who they can interact with. We are eager to make sure that we minimise the growth of your bubble while your child is at school.

With all of that said, we are really looking forward to being there for your children whether it’s at home or at school.

More details will be announced in tomorrow’s update.

Good luck with the learning today. Make it awesome.
